The SOMAK® (Scout Optic Mount- AK) bolts into the rear-sight tower, allowing for a stable mount for red dots and optics at the rifle’s center of balance. Having 4″ of usable rail, the SOMAK® accepts most full sized red dots, and is made from 6061 Aluminum with a 4140 Steel nut. A channel is cut for usage as an iron sight. When installed and used as an iron sight, elevation is equivalent to 100m. The SOMAK® is also compatible with PSL rifles.

The SOMAK is NOT compatible with Century RAS47, C39v1, C39v2, Polish Wz. 88 “Tantal”, Yugoslavian/Serbian M70 AKs or Hungarian AKs.
